About the Opportunity

This position is responsible for supporting the Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) Reporting & Analytics group which is responsible for supporting distribution reliability reporting, analytics, the Outage Management System (OMS) dashboard, and various outage management tools. This role is intended to provide foundational support for emerging analytics tools and pilot programs, helping to stabilize and operationalize these capabilities as they scale. This position is critical to enabling successful deployment and long-term sustainability of our analytics initiatives.

This position can be located at any of the FE major hubs

Responsibilities include:

Querying data from iTOA, Oracle NMS, GIS and other data sources, interpreting the data and analyzing results using advanced statistical techniques.
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, IT, Customer Service and Regulatory teams to translate business needs into functional requirements and support cross-functional initiatives
Develop tools using platforms such as Data Bricks, Toad Database, RapidMiner, Python, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps or other similar tools.
Support data governance structure and adherence by leading technical validation and testing.
Develop tools and processes that provide visibility to key stakeholders and support improvement in FE distribution reliability.
Conducting business specific research and ad hoc data analysis – obtaining data, interpreting results, and communicating findings to provide insights that reduce reliability risk, optimize investments, and improve distribution reliability.
