Position Summary
This position oversees the day-to-day operations of NMC’s two Testing Centers, including supervising proctors, overseeing placement testing, NMC tests, certification exams, and exams for other colleges and universities and community members seeking industry certifications. The Testing & Data Specialist also provides specialized data analysis support for student success efforts.
Qualifications
Required
Associate’s Degree
Experience with Microsoft Windows-based computer programs and applications (including but not limited to MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Explorer-web browsing)
Experience using Google Workspace, and video communication tools (e.g. Google Meet and Zoom)
Minimum of 2 years customer service experience
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree
One year of management or supervisory experience
One year of experience using Starfish/MySuccess
One year of experience utilizing Banner or other student database system
Experience working in the education industry
Knowledge of higher education and professional tests, best practices, and industry trends
