About the Role
The Senior FP&A Analyst plays a key role in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis to support business decision-making. This role partners cross-functionally with department leaders to provide insights into financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and help drive operational efficiency and growth. NOTE: this is an onsite position in Irvine, CA
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 4–7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting.
Required Skills
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive, Anaplan) preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or sports apparel industry preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Experience in a Private Equity backed environment.
- Experience working in a multi-country environment (MX preferred).
- Spanish language skills highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across departments.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Analyze financial results, variances, and trends; provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Partner with business units to track performance against targets and KPIs.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
