Required Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, or Analytics role.
- Strong SQL (T-SQL) experience, including writing and troubleshooting complex queries and stored procedures.
- Advanced Power BI experience, including dashboard development, reporting, and DAX.
- Ability to work independently with large and complex datasets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Insurance, Financial Services, or Claims Operations experience.
- Knowledge of Personal Auto Insurance and claims data.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, DirectLake, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Lakehouse environments.
- Familiarity with actuarial concepts such as loss ratio, claim severity, and reserve adequacy.
- Experience utilizing AI-assisted analytics and reporting tools.

Under the direction of the Director of Claims Reporting & Analytics, the Sr. Claims Data Analyst serves as a key analytics partner to Claims Operations. This role bridges the gap between business operations and technology by transforming complex claims data into meaningful dashboards, reporting, insights, and recommendations that drive business performance.
