The Role
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in providing the financial insight, analysis, and reporting that supports strategic decision-making across the company — including regular reporting to Zentech’s private equity ownership group and lenders. This position requires a strong command of financial and technical accounting principles, sharp analytical skills, and experience in a manufacturing and/or government contracting environment. Reporting to the Corporate Controller and frequently collaborating with the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Financial Analyst helps ensure financial reporting meets GAAP standards as well as the performance, compliance, and reporting expectations of a private-equity-owned business.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Prepare monthly reporting packages, board presentations, and KPI dashboards
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans
- Monitor working capital and support cash flow forecasting to help maintain lender covenant compliance
- Support consolidation of financial results across multiple manufacturing sites
- Assist with financial due diligence, purchase accounting, and integration support for acquisitions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and operational efficiency, and prepare materials for senior management and stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA preferred, MBA a plus
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis or account
