Job Summary:
The Sr. Financial Analyst plays a key role in strengthening the company’s financial performance through forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, business analytics, and strategic financial analysis. As the organization’s first dedicated FP&A resource, this position offers the opportunity to build and shape scalable financial planning, reporting, dashboarding, and analytics processes from the ground up. Working closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional business partners, the Sr. Financial Analyst will help improve financial visibility, support operational decision-making, and identify opportunities to drive profitability, efficiency, and long-term growth across the organization.
This is not a traditional accounting-focused role; instead, it is best suited for a hands-on finance professional with experience in operational finance, or business analytics within manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or other product-based business environments. Success in this role requires strong analytical and investigative thinking, comfort working through ambiguity, technical aptitude with financial and analytics systems, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the continued development and improvement of the company’s FP&A function, including forecasting methodologies, KPI reporting, and financial analytics processes
- Support annual budgeting, long-range planning, and recurring forecasting activities in partnership with Finance leadership
- Develop and maintain financial models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity models to support strategic planning, pricing, and operational decision-making
