This role drives complex strategic analysis, business case development, and scenario modeling in support of strategic initiatives and partnerships across the Shipping & Logistics division. Responsibilities include building business cases for new market entry and growth opportunities, conducting asset planning analysis, developing the quantitative and structural analysis behind partnership evaluations, and supporting Corporate Development on M&A transactions through commercial and operational due diligence. The ideal candidate translates complex data and analysis into rigorous models and executive-ready materials that inform leadership decision-making. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Support strategic planning, business case development, and analytical workstreams for initiatives spanning market expansion, new market entry, and growth opportunities. Develop and evaluate business cases for organic growth, service replication, and new or evolving business models, including opportunity sizing, investment requirements, risks, and tradeoffs. Build complex scenario, financial, and portfolio models to assess expected outcomes and inform decision-making. Conduct asset planning analysis, including fleet replacement economics and related capital allocation tradeoffs. Develop the quantitative and structural analysis behind partnership evaluations including slot agreements and swap arrangements. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Operations) to gather data, validate assumptions, and align on project requirements and deliverables. Develop executive-ready presentations, dashboards, models, and recommendations that clearly communicate insights, risks, timelines, and expected outcomes. Execute complex analysis, including financial modeling, forecasting, gap analysis, and scenario planning, in support of strategic initiatives and partnerships. Support Corporate Development on assigned M&A transactions, strategic, commercial, and operational strategic inputs to diligence and investment theses. Qualifications Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field required. MBA or Masters in Finance similar professional designation a plus. Experience 3+ years of progressive experience in management consulting, corporate development, strategic finance, business development, or a related field. Experience in transportation, maritime, logistics, energy, infrastructure, or complex operational environments preferred. Demonstrated experience developing business cases, financial and operational models, and data-driven recommendations. Technical Skills Advanced financial modeling and investment analysis capability, including scenario and sensitivity analyses.
