Position Overview & Goals

Role Title: Student Web Support and Data Specialist
Department: Academic Planning and Accreditation
Hours: 20 hours per week
Rate: 19.62 per hour

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Website Support: Troubleshoot, fix bugs, and update features in existing ASP.NET and C# web applications running in Microsoft IIS, using Visual Studio.

Database Tasks: Write and optimize SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server to support web forms and backend data flow and integrity.

Reporting: Build and update data visualizations and dashboards using HTML and Power BI.

Version Control: Manage code changes, pull requests, conflict resolution, and documentation using GitHub.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

USF Graduate student currently enrolled in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Basic understanding of C# and the .NET framework.

Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.

Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub features.
