Mon-Fri 7AM-330PM This is a 100% onsite position at our Bartonville, Illinois location. We do not offer relocation assistance for this role. Power the data centers, hospitals, and other mission-critical facilities of tomorrow by ensuring the right materials are available at the right time. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the growth of Altorfer Packaging's generator-set operations. Working within a unique manufacturing and Caterpillar dealer environment, you'll partner with engineering, production, purchasing, and suppliers to manage Bills of Material (BOMs), routers, material planning, and inventory readiness. Your work will help drive efficient production, support on-time delivery, and ensure our customers receive the high-quality solutions they depend on. Position Summary Supports end-to-end supply chain for diesel generator packaging projects Ensures materials align with engineering BOMs, schedules, and customer requirements Analyzes material demand, supplier performance, and inventory flow Key Responsibilities Analyze BOMs, routers, and production schedules to determine material needs Maintain ERP (Global Shop) data including lead times, pricing and suppliers Monitor shortages and proactively resolve material gaps Track inventory, support cycle counts, and improve inventory accuracy Analyze supplier performance including delivery, quality, and cost Support sourcing decisions and resolve supplier issues Ensure material availability aligns with production schedules Coordinate with production to resolve shortages or substitutions Develop reports on KPIs such as delivery performance, inventory, and lead times Identify inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives Other responsibilities as assigned Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred 2-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain or manufacturing Strong ERP experience (Global Shop preferred) Advanced Excel and analytical skills Knowledge of BOMs, ERP, inventory, and supplier management Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).
