Tableau Analyst Contractor
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tableau Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and operational initiatives across the organization. This role combines business intelligence development with hands-on operations analysis. The ideal candidate is familiar with Tableau, proficient in Excel, enjoys working with data, and can translate business requirements into actionable insights.
This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills who can build and maintain dashboards, perform ad hoc analysis, identify data quality issues, and support business decision-making through accurate and timely reporting.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the possibility of full-time conversion.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Tableau Development & Reporting
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Create and optimize calculated fields, parameters, filters, and data models within Tableau.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
- Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies.
- Monitor dashboard performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reports and systems.

Excel & Data Management
- Export and manipulate large datasets for analysis.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions, including XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, nested formulas, etc.
- Reconcile data across multiple sources and investigate discrepancies.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess 2–5 years of experience in business analytics, sales operations, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.

Possess hands-on experience with the following software:
- Tableau - including dashboard development and calculated fields.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis.
- Exemplify the ability to multitask and thrive in an agile, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.<
