Role: Tableau Architect
Location: Plainsboro, NJ (Hybrid)

Job Description:
This Tableau Architect is a key member of the business intelligence team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Tableau solutions to meet organizational reporting and data visualization needs. This role combines technical expertise in Tableau with a strategic understanding of data to create insightful and impactful dashboards and reports. The Tableau Architect will also guide teams in best practices, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions. Need to have Pharma Domain experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Development:
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Design, build, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient Tableau solutions.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Create data models and establish connections to diverse data sources.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop interactive visualizations and storytelling dashboards.
Data Management:
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure proper data pipelines and structures for Tableau.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Optimize Tableau performance by addressing query efficiency and dashboard responsiveness.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage and maintain Tableau Server environments, including security, configurations, and upgrades.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand analytics needs.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide technical expertise and recommendations on Tableau capabilities and best practices.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct user training sessions to empower teams with self-service analytics capabilities.
Governance and Best Practices:
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Define and enforce Tableau development standards and governance policies.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Establish and maintain guidelines for effective data visualization and dashboard design.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead efforts to promote Tableau adoption across the organization.
Leadership and Mentoring:
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Tableau within the organization.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Mentor junior Tableau developers and analysts.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Stay updated on Tableau features and advancements, sharing insights with the team.

Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Extensive experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end Tableau solutions.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience optimizing Tableau dashboards for performance and scalability.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Familiarity with integrating Tableau with various data sources from IICS coming from CRM/Veeva Systems and AWS cloud platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional).
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation.
聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of IICS ETL processes and tools.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
