**Position Overview:**
The Tableau Lead will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Tableau-based data visualization solutions. This role involves managing a team of Tableau developers, collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, and ensuring that the company’s data visualization practices are effective, scalable, and aligned with strategic objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Leadership and Team Management:**
Β - Lead and mentor a team of Tableau developers and analysts.
Β - Provide guidance on best practices for Tableau development and data visualization.
Β - Oversee the team’s work, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.

- **Data Visualization Development:**
Β - Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
Β - Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.
Β - Optimize Tableau workbooks for performance and scalability.

- **Project Management:**
Β - Manage Tableau projects from inception through delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
Β - Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
Β - Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

- **Stakeholder Engagement:**
Β - Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions that address those needs.
Β - Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
Β - Act as the primary point of contact for Tableau-related inquiries and support.

- **Data Governance and Best Practices:**
Β - Ensure data accuracy and consistency across Tableau reports and dashboards.
Β - Implement and enforce best practices for data visualization, including design standards and governance policies.
Β - Stay updated with Tableau advancements and industry trends to continuously improve the company’s data visualization capabilities.

- **Training and Support:**
Β - Develop and deliver training materials for end-users on Tableau tools and best practices.
Β - Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Tableau-related issues.

**Qualifications:**

- **Education:**
Β - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional) is a plus.

- **Experience:**
Β - 5-7 years of experience in Tableau development and data visualization, with at least 2 years in a lead or managerial role.
Β - Proven experience in managing and mentoring a team of Tableau developers.

- **Skills:**
Β - Expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
Β - Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and principles.
Β - Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
Β - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
Β - Strong project management skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Β - Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
