ProspectBlue has partnered with a reputable company and is seeking a Talent Data Analyst. This role serves as a key contributor to the firm's workforce planning and labor investment strategy. Acting as a bridge between Finance and Talent functions, you will help leaders make informed decisions about headcount, compensation spend, organizational capacity, and future hiring needs.
Rather than focusing solely on traditional HR reporting, this position applies financial planning and analysis principles to workforce decision-making. You will help build forecasting models, monitor labor-related investments, evaluate workforce trends, and provide insights that support strategic growth objectives.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, understands the financial implications of workforce decisions, and is interested in helping leaders balance talent needs with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Workforce Financial Planning
Support workforce budgeting and forecasting activities across the organization
Develop and maintain projections for headcount, compensation, payroll-related expenses, and labor costs
Assist with annual planning cycles and periodic forecast updates
Evaluate workforce investments against business objectives and financial targets
Support scenario planning efforts related to growth, hiring, attrition, and organizational changes
Headcount & Labor Cost Management
Maintain workforce planning models that track approved, planned, and active headcount
Monitor labor spending and identify trends, risks, and variances
Conduct analyses comparing actual workforce outcomes to budget and forecast assumptions
Partner with Finance to improve visibility into labor expenses across business units and departments
Assist in developing reporting structures that support accountability for workforce-related spending
Workforce Analytics & Decision Support
Produce reporting and dashboards that provide leaders with actionable workforce insights
Analyze trends related to hiring, retention, internal movement, productivity, and organizational effectiveness
Transform workforce data into recommendations that support operational and strategic decisions
Help evolve reporting capabilities from historical analysis toward forecasting and predictive insights
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of workforce analytics tools and technologies
Executive & Business Reporting
Prepare workforce planning updates for senior leadership and business reviews
Deliver concise analysis connecting talent metrics, labor investments, and business performance
Support leadership discussions regarding staffing strategies, resource allocation, and organizational priorities
