Primary Purpose:
The Teacher Incentive Allotment Data Specialist will support the identification and
implementation of effective data management processes and systems for the expansion of
strategic compensation across the state. This will include creating systems to support districts
with TIA data submission.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification
Bachelor’s degree required
Master's degree preferred
Texas principal certification preferred
Skills
K-12 campus and/or district leadership experience preferred
Minimum of three years of central office experience preferred
Skilled in research and analysis with the ability to interpret data
Ability to compile and disaggregate data from multiple sources
Effective skills in leadership, organization, planning, communication and public relations
Worked with education data in the State of Texas (attendance, accountability, assessment,
PEIMS, special student populations, curriculum implementation, etc.) preferred
Experience managing complex scheduling logistics
Strong time management skills
Ability to communicate insights to a wide range of stakeholders within the ESC and
districts served
Strong problem-solving skills
Commitment to continuous learning and solutions-oriented response to feedback
Working Conditions:
Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including personal computer and
peripherals
Posture: Must be physically able to tolerate prolonged sitting, frequent standing;
occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, and standing
Motion: Must be physically able to tolerate frequent standing and walking, repetitive
hand motions, frequent keyboarding, and use of mouse; occasional reaching, occasional
driving
Lifting: Must be physically able to tolerate regular light lifting and carrying (less than 15
pounds); may require occasional heavy lifting and carrying (45 pounds or more)
Environment: Must be physically able to work inside; tolerate frequent districtwide travel
and occasional statewide travel; regular exposure to noise
Mental Demands: Must be able to work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional
control under stress; work prolonged or irregular hours on occasion

Agencies (LEA) to support the implementation of the Teacher Incentive Allotment at the
local and state levels.
