We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a high-impact modernization project on a short-term (3-month) contract in Downtown Toronto.

📍 Work Type
- Hybrid (2-3 days per week required in the office)

Requirements🎯 What You’ll Do (Your Superpowers):
- Analyze and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories for software development projects using MS Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define project goals and scope
- Work with Developers, QA Analysts, and Project Managers to lead requirements-gathering sessions, design solutions, and provide technical guidance
- Identify and address process inefficiencies, recommending improvements and controls
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and draft progress reports
- Maintain system protocols by updating procedures and tracking requirement changes
- Utilize MS SQL and Optimus queries to extract data analytics that support requirements gathering
- Support administration of processes, reporting, investigation, analysis, design, development, and testing requirements for projects and system updates
⭐ What We’re Looking For (Our Wishlist):
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on software development projects
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Hands-on experience with programming languages, web technologies, and database systems
- Experience with MS Azure DevOps (or equivalent tools like Jira)
- Experience creating and maintaining data dictionaries
