The Travel & Expense (T&E) Business Analyst is responsible for the operational support of Corebridge Financial global travel and expense management systems, processes, and compliance enforcement. Reporting to the Head of Procurement Operations, you will support the day-to-day operational activities of travel and expense (T&E) (40%), enhancements, strategies, troubleshooting of T&E/Concur (30%), and reporting, compliance, & stakeholder collaboration (30%). You will support the engagement of peers and senior leaders, and through their partnership, build a best-in-class travel and expense program. You will also be responsible for helping amplify the impact of the program by driving compliance and identifying best practice to encouraging the enhancement of our travel and expense program.

  • Be responsible for global Travel & Expense Management operations
  • Support our business process outsource partner through SOP development or managing escalations
  • Ensure compliance to our T&E policy and processes, including but not limited to the monitoring and execution of our automated expense audit software
  • Collaborate with the Concur team to track SLA metrics and key performance indicators to improve strategies and process improvement for business unit stakeholders
  • Enhance existing vendor relationships through performance scorecards to drive continuous improvements and ensure vendor strategies align with vendor’s performance history
  • Prepare and analyze reporting and data requests as required by the department, business, and/or third parties, such as travel dashboard, traveler activity, accruals, compliance, KPI’s, etc.
  • Utilize analytical tools to identify trends and patterns in T&E data conducting root cause analysis to identify and provide solutions for travel and expense variances
  • Work cross- functionally to streamline processes through automation and technology solutions
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders across Global Finance Operations to ensure streamlined processes, including but not limited to T&E, supplier onboarding, sourcing, procurement, payables, and contract management

A key aspect of this role is building collaborative relationships with our internal business partners. This position will actively manage multiple time-sensitive requests, effectively interface with all levels of management, including executive leadership.

Job requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree focused in related area (Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or other relevant)
  • 2 years+ of Travel & Expense experience, Concur strongly preferred.
  • Strong ability to influence others with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extremely customer-focused, taking the time to understand the needs of the business.
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to quickly synthesize distill and draw conclusions on substantial amounts of disparate data.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to learn new ideas independently with the ability to manage tasks and prioritizing workflow with increased independence.
