Undergraduate Co-op Program Overview-

A Day in Your Life at MKS:


As a market intelligence intern at the Strategic Marketing group at the Vacuum Solutions Division, you will perform intelligence analysis and data analytics tasks for the markets MKS plays in. In this role, you will partner with Product Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other teams to gather data, organize and transform, then present into actionable intelligence in a presentable format. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Director of Strategic Marketing, VSD.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Collect and summarize market and competitor intelligence in organized ways
  • Obtain and align internal intelligence
  • Use data analytic tools, including latest AI tools, to synthesize and present discoveries.


Skills You Bring:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree or Master's/PhD program for Business, Data Analytics or relevant majors
  • Basic understanding of business concepts: Sales, Cost, Margin, Market, Competitor, TAM/SAM/share
  • Fluent use of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using AI tools for problem solving
  • Basic Statistics Concepts
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn


Preferred Skills:

  • Marketing and marketing analytics
  • Data analytics, data visualization toolsets such as powerBI or Tableau
  • Excel and Power Query

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly Pay Range: $19.00 to $33.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.Β Β

Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.Β 

The application period for the intern/co-op position is estimated to be through the end of March 2025; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates
