Business Analyst: Billing System Migrations

This is a contract role, term 7 months, reporting to the Zuora Billing System Manager, you will lead the migration of Morgan Stanley at Work business to the Zuora Subscription system. This will require working closely with the billing teams at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney to ensure complete identification of all customers and products to be billed. Based on historical billing data from Access Database and invoices, prepare data files for testing to enable complete validation of billing for all customers. As part of validation provide training to billing team and customer Relationship Managers on process for billing after cutover and how to view subscription and billing details by client in either Zuora or Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Audit of data from legacy systems and Morgan Stanley Home office Salesforce to identify complete population of Billing migration customers.

• Build import data files for customer and contact details.

• Build Subscription import data files for each customer with their unique products and pricing.

• Import all data in test Zuora environment and complete parallel quarterly billing test. Validate results for accuracy. Share results with Morgan Stanley teams to get signoff for migration of data to Production Zuora System.

• Lead user training for billing team for new processing in Zuora.

• Lead RM training for how to view data and processing steps for billing adjustments [FIN JIRA system].

• Train stakeholders on best practices and recommended processes in Shareworks extractions for usage data, Bill Runs, validation of usage, bill runs, posting and sending invoices to customers.

Requirements

• Team oriented, pragmatic, motivated, and goal oriented.

• Able to work independently and manage several task streams in parallel.

• Excellent eye for detail to ensure billing nuances by client are identified and set-up appropriately for quarterly subscription billing.

• Work experience with billing systems and Salesforce required and process automation experience beneficial.

• Prior exposure to implementation Projects valuable.

• Naturally curious and a very logical mind.

• A good understanding of process design and mapping.

• A willingness to dig into the details to understand issues.

• Adaptable, able to quickly move into new situations and build relationships.

• Experience working in the B2B SaaS industry preferred.
