Job Description

Job Title: Business Analyst, Sr.
Detroit, MI  
5 months with possible extension
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
    With general guidance and coaching, provides analytical support to a specific group of customers on business applications, infrastructure and technology related activities.
    Acts as a project team member, specifically on requirements definition and testing activities
    Provides guidance, assistance, coordination and follow-up on complex problems and ensures resolution
    Assists customers on their migration to new or revised products, applications and platforms
    Works with application developers and operations personnel to support production applications and customer-specific operations

Engagement Description:
    This position will be used to offset an open position.
    The role includes external audit coordination activities for ongoing regulatory audits of the Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Program.
    Audit coordination is the interface between the regulator and the business operations being audited.

Required Skills/Experience:
    5 years project management experience
    Demonstrated knowledge and experience organizing and leading high-risk projects, involving multiple business teams and technologies
    Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
    Strong analytical skills
    Knowledge of Medicare Advantage program
    Extensive experience with analysis including root cause identification and remediation


Preferred Skills/Experience:
    5 – 7 years in a compliance, audit related field
    Demonstrated competency in developing and updated executive level reports
    Ability to work with all levels of employees who are engaged in regulatory audits
    Strong time management skills
 

Education/Certifications – Include:
    Bachelor’s Degree required
    Compliance experience
    Significant creativity is required.

Education Requirements:
Senior - Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
