Business Data Analyst-Insurance Industry Experience

Utilize your skills, expertise and data management best practices for business need analysis, business requirements analysis, assisting business partners with data source identification and analysis, data validation, and data modeling for conversion and similar efforts. You will play a key role in helping to leverage the available data in new ways to provide insights to our business partners.

Your Impact:

• Advanced skill set with ability to analyze, manipulate, map and report on data for conversions
• Transforms client requests into project data deliverables to include data models, target data mappings and data transformation rules
• Data profiling: generate desired data from the source, interpret data using statistical analysis to detect patterns and behaviors, and manipulate data to upload into destination system
• Contribute to the development of project plans for data deliverables
• Work with product owners and business owners to understand reporting needs Understand and interpret large scale data for multiple reporting purposes
• Work with project managers, system analysts and developers to understand data requirements of target system
• Analyze and model requirements through the use of process flows, data flows, and use case diagrams
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that the technology solution satisfies business requirements.

Successful Candidates will Have:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Data Systems Analyst role
• Previous insurance experience required
• Advanced Excel and/or Python skills
• Experience with Vertafore and Applied applications a plus
• Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $75,000.00 - $90,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
