About the Role

As part of the Business Insights team, you'll be a key player in planning, designing, and maintaining impactful business intelligence solutions that empower our organization. In this role, you’ll ensure the stability, integrity, and efficiency of data operations while transforming raw data into actionable insights that help our business thrive. With your strong analytical mindset and expertise in database relationships, you’ll create meaningful, user-friendly reports and data visualizations that drive decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Maintain and support business intelligence reporting, data processes, and delivery solutions.
  • Actively monitor data workflows, addressing any quality issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure BI best practices are consistently followed.
  • Develop ad-hoc reports and data solutions as needed, adapting to the dynamic needs of our business.

Execution & Delivery

  • Meet project deadlines, deliver reliable work estimates, and achieve high-quality results.
  • Create thorough documentation of data processes, transformations, and structures.
  • Develop User Acceptance Test strategies with the project team and ensure solutions are rigorously reviewed.
  • Provide hands-on training to end-users on new and modified data solutions.

Communication & Community Engagement

  • Document your work thoroughly and uphold high standards of transparency and clarity.
  • Actively participate in our data community by attending workshops, teaching, and contributing to solution improvements.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business field, with 2–4 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
  • Proficiency with SQL, SSIS, and SSAS, along with experience in business intelligence tools like Tableau and DAX.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Allegro Horizon, Hartigen Power Optix, SharePoint Services, and Microsoft Exchange is a plus.
