Job Summary:

In this role, you will be working as a member of the Chief Data & Financial Operations (CD&FO) team. As a Business Metadata Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the creation of and maintenance of key metadata in Collibra. Metadata is essential for effective data management, compliance, and ensuring that data is easily discoverable and usable. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for mentoring and growth opportunities in the data domain. While prior experience is helpful, this role is open to entry level candidates. You will have the chance to learn from senior data professionals and contribute to the data platform transformation of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain metadata in Collibra, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

  • Manage reference data, business glossary, KDEs, and data catalog.

  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and document metadata requirements.

  • Ensure metadata standards and guidelines are followed.

  • Assist in the design of metadata workflows to manage the metadata in Collibra.

  • Provide support and training to users on metadata tools and processes.

  • Provide review and challenge for KDE prioritization exercise.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Familiarity with Collibra or similar metadata management tools

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience with data governance

  • Knowledge of data management best practices and industry standards

  • Competency with Office 365, SharePoint, Visio, MS-Project, Alteryx, Collibra Data Governance, Collibra Data Quality, PowerBI, Tableau

The typical base pay range for this role is between $87K - $105K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
