Description
Our Client is seeking a full-time Information Management and Data Visualization Analyst to provide support to the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Laborβs Office of Global Programs (DRL/GP) at the U.S. Department of State. The Analyst shall have experience in data base management, data analytics, information management, and data visualization. Candidates should have experience working independently, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as colleagues across multiple offices and agencies. The Analyst must have a working knowledge of foreign assistance, international human rights and democracy programming.
The Analyst shall be responsible for carrying out the officeβs strategy, in collaboration with members of the team, to effectively develop and automate systems to aggregate, clean, and analyze data. The Analyst shall be responsible for creating reports that highlight DRLβs Human Rights and Democracy Fund (HRDF) and other resources, and to effectively communicate information using standard graphs, infographics, dashboards and other interactive data visuals, and other written formats. The Contractor shall assist DRL/GP with database management and incorporating and maintaining information provided from DRLβs database.
The Analyst shall apply internal control measures to protect organizational integrity and prevent unauthorized use or misappropriation of sensitive and classified material; reports instances of security violations/problems to the appropriate supervisory/management official; assumes full responsibility for safeguarding all classified and sensitive (but unclassified) material and equipment in assignment area(s). The Analyst shall directly support the Deputy Director who reports to the Office Director.
