What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for driving data-based decision making and web optimization for Staples’ web properties.
  • Improve the online customer experience by generating analysis and insights on web and mobile performance, customer behavior, voice of customer.
  • Leverage multiple sources of analytics (web analytics, A/B tests, voice of customer etc.) to understand web site performance and visitor behavior.
  • Provide business insights and recommendations based on data to drive revenue and conversion and improve user experience.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Data Analysis, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Python
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role
  • Expertise with SQL, Excel and PowerPoint

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in predictive modeling and machine learning.
  • Advanced certification in data analysis or related field.
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics
  • Experience with A/B testing tools such as Adobe Target, Optimizely
