Data Specialist

The Data Specialist works as part of the RSS Data Team getting input from business, QA and technical teams.Β  They are a major contributor to managing data deliverables. This person will be responsible for understanding and writing data requirement stories and ensuring there is integration with data required to support business requirements and software deliverables.




Duties and Responsibilities


Β 



  • Maintain the RSS Data Team Calendar on the RSO App.

    • Capturing and scheduling data events, such as Daily, Weekly, Release, CR Activation

    • Setting up a weekly review of all long-range events.

    • Setting up a daily review of today/this week’s events

  • Host a daily call with Core Data Team Members.

    • Reviewing VersionOne assignments

    • Reviewing Service Now CR’s

    • Managing daily tasks

  • Host a weekly call with all Data Team Members.

    • Setting an agenda

    • Reviewing the release Data Validation Sheet

    • Scheduling and assigning tasks to various team members

  • Maintain a record of Weekly Long Term Data Planning meeting

    • Reviewing the agenda prior to meeting.

    • Taking and publishing notes during the meeting

Minimum Qualifications



  • 3+ years of experience working as a Functional, Data or Business Analyst.

  • Experience with MS-Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint to support work activity

  • Experience with full project lifecycle

  • Able to pass security clearance requirements of targeted Escher client (e.g., must be US citizen or have a green card to pass security clearance as a government contractor)

  • Experience with Version One, ALM or ServiceNow

  • Experience with mailing processes

  • Technical knowledge/experience a plus

  • Experience with data driven UI architecture
