Position Summary


The Data Specialist II is a key member of our data team, responsible for maintaining the accuracy and consistency of data across our health information systems. You will partner with Data Analysts and stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights that drive decision-making, support quality improvement initiatives, and enhance patient care.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


Data Integrity: Champion data accuracy by meticulously verifying, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources.


Insights and Reporting: Collaborate with Data Analysts to generate reports and visualizations that clearly convey key data trends and patterns.


Workflow Optimization: Analyze existing data workflows, identify areas for improvement, and recommend streamlined processes.


Problem Solving: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate information.


Ryan White Grants Billing: Assist with monthly billing tasks and ensure accurate eligibility documentation for Ryan White grants.


Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on data management best practices and expand your data analysis skillset.


 


Qualifications


Required Qualifications:


Education:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.


Work Experience:



  • 3+ years of experience with data entry.

  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.

  • 2+ years of experience working in an electronic health record.


Skills:



  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

  • Experience identifying and resolving data inconsistencies.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • At least one certification in Data Analytics or a related field of study.
