Group Details

We are looking for a versatile engineer to join a new data visualization function within the UI Development group.

The goal is to leverage Tradeweb’s industry-leading market data to build interactive and static visualizations for traders, to help them decide what to trade, who to trade with, and at what level, improving trading efficiency and minimizing transaction cost. The visualizations will be integrated into the Tradeweb Institutional Trading Platform to assist traders before, after, and during trade execution. This is a broad, high impact role, covering everything from design, development, testing, deployment, and support of the visualizations.

Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts.Β  There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.

Job Responsibilities

  • End-to-end delivery of complex, interactive data visualizations to traders, inclusive of ideation, development, QA testing, and production support – independent, self-starter, problem-solving traits essential
  • Combination of static and real-time market data from various sources (Snowflake, Kafka, LLM) to build useful visualizations
  • Collaborating with product managers to collate requirements, give demos, and gather feedback
  • Responding to feedback from product managers and traders, quickly turning around customizations and improvements
  • Contributing to shared libraries and infrastructure to scale consistently visualizations across different asset classes and trading types

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 5 + years of experience with Python, Streamlit, Plotly
  • 5 + years of Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Kafka, Trino
  • Experience building browser-based UIs: HTML, JS, CSS experience helpful
  • Relevant data or engineering degree, e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering
  • Fintech and/or portfolio trading experience and knowledge helpful
  • Leading a project start to finishΒ

  • The current pay range for this role is currently $120,00 to $240,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule.Β  The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, and internal guidelines.
  • This role will also be eligible to participate in Tradeweb’s discretionary bonus program.Β 
  • This role is expected to remain open until 1/20/25.
