Under the direction of the Director of Search and Digital Marketing the Digital Marketing Analyst manages digital marketing campaigns and website analytics for a portfolio of websites managed by Sentry’s digital marketing team. This role will be responsible for analyzing data trends, interpreting results, providing regular reporting and developing recommendations based on marketing data. This role will work alongside digital marketing colleagues and information technology leaders to support digital marketing goals.

This hybrid position is located in Stevens Point, WI and is NOT eligible for a fully remote schedule.

We are unable to offer employment for this position to holders of F-1, J-1 or H-1 visas.

What You'll Do

As a Digital Marketing Analyst, you will:

  • Develop and execute digital campaigns ensuring alignment to offline and online digital marketing strategies and business objectives.Β  Prepare reports and analyze campaign results and program performance to uncover insights, identify barriers when results are not met and provide business units with recommendations on how to ensure digital marketing success going forward.
  • Execute and monitor online marketing programs such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) email marketing and other digital programs.Β  Evaluate program performance and take action to maximize Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Collaborate with Corporate Marketing Specialists to provide daily support of business unit inquiries to ensure programs are meeting business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to provide recommendations on digital strategies that align with offline and online marketing programs and support business unit objectives.
  • Partner with marketing team to identify opportunities to use digital channels, programs and technology in the integrated marketing planning process to meet business unit objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing team and IT on the development, launch and maintenance of websites and digital programs.

Additionally, you will:

  • Identify digital marketing trends and best practices to optimize online marketing spend and campaign performance.
  • Ensure consistent brand and product communication throughout all digital channels.
  • Ensure that communication and advertising projects adhere to branding and documentation standards, corporate standards and that proper approvals are received from management.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other business unit associates, company executives and outside communication sources.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned from time to time.

What it Takes

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, emphasis in marketing, communications, advertising or related field is required
  • Experience and knowledge of effective marketing strategies and background in digital marketing or eCommerce a plus
  • Experience managing digital marketing programs such as SEO, social media, CRM, online media, measurement & analytics and mobile marketing a plus
  • Ability to think strategically and align marketing plans with business objectives
  • Ability to manage numerous priorities of high visibility programs
  • Strong analytical skills to ensure clear analysis and sound data-based decision-making
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Beneficial skills and experience:

  • Advanced degree in mathematics, business, statistics or related field is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in the digital marketing analytics field or related area is preferred
  • Experience using database and date warehouse environments, and statistical methods to analyze data is preferred
  • Consultative and interpersonal skills. Ability to constructively assess the goal, determine appropriate measurements and set up a corresponding measurement framework.
  • Demonstrated metrics-driven success in achieving goals and objectives
  • Strong knowledge of campaign elements including key performance indicators, return on investment, web analytics and email tracking
  • Experience leveraging CRM and Google Analytics
  • Experience with large data sets, analyzing various metrics from disparate sources, presenting them concisely and advising management on the best courses of action given the data patterns
  • Proven expertise in digital marketing and in managing, interpreting and reporting on analytics for digital marketing and advertising campaigns and website performance
  • High proficiency in all associated standard computer applications and operating systems, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and other digital marketing analytics and online project management systems
  • Proficiency in business intelligence and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Interactive/web/mobile know-how (HTML, CSS), use of content management systems and understanding of digital experience
  • Experience with both PC and MAC platforms; server technology
  • Ability to be a team player with strong communication/reporting abilities, as well as project management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent relationship builder within the organization and with external vendors
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, high volume and deadline-driven environment
  • A flexible, energetic self-starter who enjoys collaboration with a wide variety of constituencies
  • Revenue driven. Contributing to the bottom line fuels your data driven decisions.
  • Advanced degree or certification in media/marketing technology
  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Google Ads
