Financial Analyst

We are actively seeking two detail oriented and dedicated Financial Analysts to join our accounting team in Milan, IL. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.

Location: Milan, IL (Onsite Position)

Pay: $55,000-$90,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.
• Maintain and balance an automated consolidation system by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data.
• Provide accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information; convert data to the general ledger system; obtain supplementary information for preparing financial statements.
• Analyze current procedures and recommend changes to develop and implement best practice accounting procedures.
• Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• At least 1-5 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
• Experience in Public Accounting preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
