JOB SUMMARY:
Compiles and analyzes financial information for the organization. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Analyzes baseline financial statement information including; income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and critical operational data to determine business viability and potential areas for business improvement.
- Prepares schedules, tables, and charts to summarize financial analysis and findings; Identifying key drivers of variances to budget/forecast, provide analysis and commentary of deviation from the plan, be able to run scenarios and gauge the budgetary impact from them.
- Completes monthly reforecasts and performs monthly volume reports.
- Performs Cost/Benefit Analysis and updates capital expenditure schedule.
- Prepares valuation analysis and completes financial analysis for business development & new markets.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Finance or a similar role.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and analytical experience including knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and/or data interpretation and analysis.
- Proven ability to prepare decision-support analysis on a range of issues related to financial performance, business planning, strategic opportunities, and business case analysis.
- Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills working with internal and external partners and executive management.
- Working knowledge of regulatory bodies relating to payroll, taxes, and general business financial conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
- Prioritize workload and achieve effective results; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
- Intermediate up to advanced proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, and other advanced formulas).
- Self-driven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction.
