Overview






The Financial Analyst candidate must have experience performing analysis including the ability to analyze financial and business related data. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to analyze, explain and draw logical conclusions from data and should be able to handle ad hoc projects from upper management and corporate, which will be used to make strategic business decisions. The Financial Analyst will have to calculate standard cost rates and recommend improvements as necessary and will be assisting cost center managers in forecasting and budgeting. 

This is a hybrid positon.









Responsibilities






Tasks to be performed may include work in the following areas:

  • Monitoring and tracking of costs.
  • Budget variance analysis.
  • Identifying balancing/Memo/Base account costs.
  • Cost tracking between different cost recovery mechanisms.
  • Developing 2025 budgets.
  • Responding to regulatory data requests.
  • Supporting regulatory filings.
  • Supporting audits, internal and external.
  • Supporting financial performance tracking.








Qualifications






Required Skills:

  • BS in Business Administration, Accounting Finance or equivalent degree required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in financial planning and analysis required.
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems.
  • Mastery of Microsoft tools such as excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Desired:

  • Knowledge of SAP Systems.
  • Knowledge of financial models as they pertain to the utiltiy industry.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI tool usage and report development.
  • Proficient in BEX/AFE (Business Expense Substantiation & Tax Implications/Authorization for Expenditure).

Wage Data Per State Requirements






Salary range for this position is $61,760.00 - $77,200.00 The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
