SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst provides support to the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions for Citizen Watch America brands’ global business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Prepare the annual and interim financial budgets and forecasts for the US and Canada including Sales and COGS, OPEX, CapEx, Inventory and Cash
  • Consolidate and report CWA Group budgets and forecasts via internal presentations, supporting schedules, and to parent company using their consolidation software
  • Manage the respective brand P&Ls to achieve company profit objectives on an ongoing basis through collaboration with functional teams
  • Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP by providing guidance to functional areas of the organization and review of transactional activity
  • Collaborate with subsidiary finance organizations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and provide guidance as necessary
  • Consolidate and prepare presentation of CWA Group monthly results for the executive committee
  • Review CapEx spend vs budget, share results with functional areas of the organization and prepare quarterly reporting to parent company
  • Prepare the monthly Cash forecast for US and Canada with special consideration of timing of payments for inventory purchases through partnership with the inventory planning group
  • Analyze gross margin profitability by brand and sales channel and perform ad hoc product and customer profitability analysisΒ 
  • Identify risks and opportunities, perform ad hoc analysis of business performance, and provide business perspective of financial analysis to functional area leaders
  • Analyze inventory transactions and provide guidance to maintain inventory targets
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or similarΒ 
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to operate autonomously to achieve goals
  • Inquisitive and analytical – intellectually curious
  • Conscientious and solutions-driven, logical minded
  • Highly proficient with Excel, PowerBI experience a plus
  • Integrated ERP system experience (SAP S4/HANA Public Cloud, Excel add-in software)
