Job Title: Financial Analyst - Accounts Payable
Pay Grade: Grade 6
Salary: Β $60,588
Department: Finance
Reports to: ControllerΒ
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Summary:Β The Financial Analyst - Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for a full cycle of payables. Key responsibilities include verifying, auditing, processing and allocating invoices and expense reports, in addition to researching and reconciling accounts.
Responsibilities:
β’ Review and verify invoices and check requests.
β’ Code and match invoices.Β
β’ Prepare accruals for monthly close.Β
β’ Post journal entries to the general ledger.Β
β’ Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.Β
β’ Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.Β
β’ Assist in the monthly invoicing to the Airlines, Concessionaires and Department of Aviation.Β
β’ Act as the concession coordinator which includes the responsibility to invoice monthly with associated details.Β
β’ Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.Β
β’ Maintain AP files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.Β
β’ Provide supporting documentation for audits.Β
β’ Other responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree, Accounting, Finance or related Business field.
β’ 2+ yearsβ experience in an accounting position specializing in accounts payable required.
β’ Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
β’ Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
β’ Core computer and applications competency relevant to the role to include MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
β’ Must be able to pass requirements for approval for an ATL badge with customs seal. This includes a 10-year background search by fingerprint analysis.
