Financial Analyst

Job Description           
The primary role of the Financial Analyst is supporting the Finance Manager and CFO with financial planning and budgeting, financial and operational analysis, and payroll analysis support the organization. This person will maintain existing forecasting/budgeting/reporting models and reports and help develop additional capabilities. The Financial Analyst will also handle many ad hoc and standard report requests from all areas of the company.  The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing data driven insights and actionable information to the organization.

A successful candidate must possess strong analytical skills, be proficient with using large amounts of data, and know how to create and troubleshoot reporting. They must demonstrate critical thinking and sound judgement. The candidate must work well in a team setting and independently with a focus on deadlines with excellent service. A flexible mindset to tackle any request or need is important.  Candidates with a strong interest to grow and learn professionally will excel in this position. The role will support and interact with various departments.

Role & Responsibilities

· Support decision making through analytics while utilizing large data sets from various databases. · Analyze financial trends and variances, providing insights and recommendations to management. · Monitor and track expenses against budgets, identifying risks and opportunities for cost optimization. · Improve financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of key deliverables. · Collaborate with accounting teams to reconcile financial data and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.

· Creating and reporting financial KPIs and assisting with preparing financial reports.

· Assisting with budgeting/forecasting, monthly close, and payroll analytics processes.

· Support preparation of concise executive presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, and other

tools.

· Promote the values of the company.

· Maintain a high level of motivation and morale.

Educational Requirement & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Math, Accounting, Economics or similar preferred

· 2+ years of progressive financial analyst or FP&A experience (budgeting, forecasting, financial

reporting, financial modeling)

· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately

· Advanced Excel proficiency and experience managing large datasets.

· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy

· The ability to work independently and in a group setting, high integrity, reasoned and thoughtful

judgment, a sense of urgency and analytical and intuitive skills. Ability to think creatively.
