What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with the A/R Supervisor and Finance Staff to maintain collection goals and general A/R performance levels.

  • Coordinate with the sales team and customer in trade program deductions and settlement of charges.

  • Reconcile Customer accounts on a regular basis and resolve any problems with customers.

  • Make collection calls as required on overdue accounts.

  • Post and reconcile customer payments to general ledgers.

  • Uploading Invalid Trade deduction claims into Vendor Portal.

  • Provide technical expertise and advice on financial position to functional or operational area managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.

  • Create models, conduct analysis, and develop presentations that condense data into actionable information for Functional Managers.

  • Perform and present Return on Investment analyses for capital investments, capacity planning scenarios.

  • AR Supervisor and you will be responsible for driving and supporting β€œfinancial monthly book close” activities, ensuring that all risk areas have been assessed, presented, and mitigated.

  • Coordinate and publish a monthly financial results package for Senior Management and the Board of Directors.

  • Perform other duties as assigned




What You Need to Get the Job Done:

  • Diploma/Degree in Finance or Commerce or working towards professional qualification i.e. CPA

  • Demonstrated success in a previous analytical role with an exceptionally strong work ethic.

  • Preferred

    • Preference will be given to a candidate coming from a food or beverage company

    • Experience in Oracle NetSuite system or equivalent ERP is an asset

    • Preference will be given to local candidates where possible
