                 Job Summary

As a member of Alliant Asset Management, the Financial Reporting Analyst is primarily responsible for the oversight of all reporting, both to and from Alliant Asset Management, including the preparation and review of all corporate Investor reporting.

 

      Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze, adjust and input Property Level financial data for Alliant’s Tax Credit (Section 42) Multi-Family Apartment Investment Portfolio, including Annual Operating Budgets, Quarterly Financial Statements, Year-End Audited Financial Statements and Tax Returns.  Provide review analysis to Asset Managers.
  • Coordination and preparation of Monthly Construction and Occupancy Reports with the Construction and Asset Management Departments.
  • Coordination and preparation of Quarterly Reports for Alliant’s Upper-Tier Investors.
  • Build Queries and Reports in Microsoft Access Database on an as-needed basis for Investor Reporting and Asset Management purposes.
  • Maintain Asset Management and Investor Reporting Calendars to track pending deadlines and completion progress.  Work with Staff to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist Department on Special Projects related to Investor Reporting and Alliant’s Database with rapid turnaround.

 

 

   Qualifications

Candidate must have familiarity with general principles of:

  • Real Estate (multi-family preferred)
  • Operations and Analysis
  • Budgeting
  • Financial Reporting
  • Lending Practices
  • General Accounting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Access

 

         

       Education

 

The following minimum level of experience is required.

·         Bachelors Degree required, or educational equivalent on job experience. 

·         Preferably 1 -2 years of real estate experience.

Must be able and on project sites to travel extensively including extensive driving and deal with effective with the stress associated with a very fast-paced, constantly changing work environment, including handling multiple tasks on a daily basis.

 

Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, standing walking, squat. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, grasp (Right or/and left hand); reach with hands (not above shoulders), and will frequently type.  May be required to walk around equipment and machinery, May be exposed to excessive noise at construction site. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty pounds of a maximum size of a banker box... Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus on detail.  Regular exposure to all outdoor weather conditions, especially hot, humid and/or rainy spring, summer and fall weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. 

 

Must be able to list up to 35lbs.
