Develops, interprets, and implements complex financial and accounting concepts or techniques for financial planning and control. Compiles, analyzes and prepares financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Compensation Range:
$74,880.00-$86,954.40
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for monthly journal entries as needed, analyses, monthly financial reports and invoices for assigned grants, as well as performing audits on grant-related invoices, expense reports and advances.
- Reconciles and balances accounts and assists with month-end closing as needed.
- Verifies, allocates, and posts details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files from documents such as billing sheets, invoices, receipts, check stubs, and computer printouts.
- Compiles reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to the operation of business.
- Creates and maintains payroll, pharmacy, payor, and general ledger reconciliations and analysis.
- Participates in the preparation and analysis of monthly site budgets.
- Assists with filing annual UDS/HCAI reports.
- Assists with financial audits and HRSA Onsite Visits.
- Assists with creating and maintaining leadership financial packages.
- Prepares the monthly Providers' Productivity Report and salaries expense report for a site when requested.
- Other duties and responsibilities as designated by supervisor.

- Knowledge of standard accounting operating procedures and principles.
- Knowledge of cash management, expenditure and disbursement process.
- Ability to read and interpret complex financial documents and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively represent ODCHCβs interests in the community and maintain effective working relationships among co-workers, public, private, and professional groups.
- Strong computer skills with specific aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Adheres to ODCHCβs policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Two years of experience in a similar role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
SUPERVISION AND SUPPORT:
The Financial Analyst reports directly to the Senior Financial Analyst and is an integral member of the Finance team.
