Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm of more than 400 attorneys and professionals, is seeking a qualified Financial Analyst to join its Charlotte, NC office. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in providing in-depth financial insights, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting. This position requires advanced analytical abilities, strong proficiency in Excel, and the ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making across departments. Prepare comprehensive reports on financial performance, including variance analysis, profit margins, budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepares monthly firm and team performance reports; compiles monthly Management Committee reporting binder; Team Leader reporting, at the direction of FP&A Manager, FP&A Director, and/or CFO.
- Maintain and manage large sets of financial data, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Identify trends and provide actionable insights from financial data to support business strategy.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analyses.
- Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance. Provide actionable insights to help drive operational and financial performance improvements.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis for special projects or requests from senior management. Provide timely and accurate data to help guide key business decisions.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA, CPA, or advanced financial certifications are a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning, or related roles, preferably within a corporate finance environment preferred; Experience in a fast-paced corporate finance environment or industry-specific financial experience preferred.
- Knowledge of financial modeling and valuation techniques preferred.
- Experience with financial software and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis, and financial modeling). Familiarity with financial systems is a plus.
- Regular in-person attendance is required to perform essential functions of this interactive position.
