Career Evolutions is searching for a Financial Analyst for a growing real estate company in Scottsdale, AZ. Full-time, direct-hire opportunity with compensation up to $55,000 + Bonus.
Job Title: Financial Analyst
Job Summary: You will work directly with the Associates and VP’s of Development for multifamily and mixed real estate projects. You will work with the operations, acquisition and development team members in the underwriting and investment plans for new acquisition and development opportunities. You will manage, create and review due diligence and third party reports in connection with real estate investments and help prepare investment reports.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain complex models for large scale mixed use projects.
- Arrange a variety of third party reports such as market studies, property tax analysis, etc.
- Prepare reports for senior management on development progress and critical decision points
- Evaluate and analyze market data including comparable properties (rents, sale prices, occupancy, etc.) and supply and demand dynamics.
- Prepare materials to present to Executive Committee and Investment Committee members, investment partners and construction lenders.
- Research supply and demand forces in the market.
- Perform real estate market research and facilitate decision support for new ventures.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2-5 years of development and financial analysis experience in the real estate industry.
- Ability to handle multiple projects of varying complexity.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Collaborative communicator with talent in developing trust and productive relationship with stakeholders, colleagues and vendors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multitask and meet demanding deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
