Finance Analyst

We are seeking a person that thrives in a fast-paced environment and technically talented to provide support for our internal teams.

We are searching for a precise Finance analyst to create data-driven ideas to improve our functioning. To this end, the Finance analyst should obtain pertinent data from all relevant departments, compile and clean this information, and then proceed to analyze the data.

To be successful as a Finance analyst, you should be able to generate useful deductions from raw information. A top-notch Finance analyst will continually create and modify databases to meet the needs of our expanding company.

You will identify financial information: You will serve as the steward of the corporate dashboards, Finance sales and productivity metrics to Operations. Using your expertise with Finance analytics you will review and improve the Finance data Finance process.

You will communicate financial information: You will convey operating performance indicators or OPIs set up by Financial Analysis & Planning. You will deliver economic information to stakeholders of the company to perform analysis ad hoc.

You will present and implement financial information: You will provide explanations and comments regarding results and provide action plans to improve the knowledge of the Finance, estimating risks and opportunities. Implementing and following up on controlling processes, you will provide guidance to our Operations team. You will prepare budget and forecast to plan the annual objectives for the different Finance units, ensuring consistency in the results and the efficient allocation of resources.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Determine operational objectives by studying Finance functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
  • Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
  • Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and Finance planning within the various departments.
  • Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated Finance analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
  • Plan and coordinate the development of primary and secondary market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives, as required and presents findings of studies
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
  • Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
  • Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your

recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes

  • Create informative, actionable and repeatable Finance that highlights relevant Finance trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues

Work with senior management on ad hoc projects and financial models: Three Statement Model, DCF, M&A, LBO, Sum of Parts, Forecasting

Support Finance development activities by analyzing financial and operational data to identify issues and opportunities and drive informed decision making.

Work with Operations to provide data and analysis to better understand their Finance, identify necessary action steps and provide metrics

Build reports to measure retail store profitability and use data and metrics to drive Finance decisions.

Prepare annual budgets and reforecasts, including projected and integrated income statements, balance sheets and cash flows

Analyze financial statements and equity structure, including a review of company valuations and cash flows

Assist with special Finance, research, and due diligence projects on an ad hoc basis

Evaluate capital needs and advise on optimal debt/equity stack
