The Finance Corporate Analytics and Insights (CAI) team is responsible for providing reports and analysis to drive actionable decisions for SAS and SAS Finance.  In this role you will have the opportunity to automate manual processes, create user-friendly data visualizations, and help bring advanced analytics into the SAS business.      

As an intern, you might: 

• Perform data analysis from multiple data sources and builds reports for projects focusing on bringing transparency into the data and trends that are driving our company
• Contribute to the efforts of building and maintaining a comprehensive reporting and tracking strategy for SAS to be IPO-ready
• Communicates and presents analysis and insights to internal customers, including senior and executive management

Required Qualifications

• Students currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or Finance
• The ability to structure and deliver presentations focused on problem explanation, key insights, and providing potential solutions
• Programming experience
• Work Hours: Available to work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and full-time hours during the summer of 2025.  
• You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you’ll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.
• You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.
• You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2025.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using visualizations to tell a story
• Prior experience or education in Business/Finance

Internship dates: This is a year-round internship position that will start in May 2025 and continue on through the academic year.

Pay Transparency: The hourly rate for SAS internships is determined by the applicant’s year in school and the position they are hired into. Hourly rates range from $15 – $31 for associate’s/bachelor’s level positions and $29 - $49/hour for master’s/Ph. D positions. Internship roles are not eligible for bonus. #SAS
