Position Description: The Grants Reporting Specialist will support the Grants Team with all aspects of the post-award grants management process, with a focus on grant reporting. This includes ensuring compliance with internal and external grant requirements, tracking grant reporting deadlines, creating grant-related correspondence and report templates, and organizing program data for efficient, consistent reporting.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

β€’ Track, maintain, and fulfill grant reporting requirements and deadlines

β€’ During application process and grant negotiations, review reporting requirements to ensure alignment with existing programming and data systems

β€’ Coordinate with Grants and Contracts Manager to create summaries and incorporate reporting requirements, deadlines, and templates into reporting dashboards

β€’ Create reporting templates and set up accounts in grantor online reporting portals

β€’ Coordinate with staff to compile and complete grant reports

β€’ Copyedit narrative to ensure accuracy and consistency of grammar, syntax, and punctuation

β€’ Create and update standardized protocols for consistent management of grant reporting

β€’ Work closely with grant writers and program staff to procure metrics and craft language for use in both grant applications and reports

β€’ Upload grant contract and renewal reporting details in various databases

β€’ Coordinate with Grants and Contracts Manager to add monthly report updates to Grants Team’s dashboard

β€’ Compile and distribute quarterly internal reports summarizing program successes and challenges to appropriate departments for review, collaboration, and motivation

β€’ Create an annual program impact report summarizing overall organizational program performance to share with internal and external stakeholders

β€’ Assist with additional post-award grants management activities, including serving as backup for grant invoicing and monitoring tasks and attending grantee trainings and webinars

Minimum Requirements

β€’ Three (3) years or more experience in a human services environment

β€’ Comfortable with Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications

β€’ Demonstrable experience with qualitative and quantitative grant reporting

β€’ Experience aggregating data and working with databases

β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

β€’ Strength in problem-solving, resourcefulness, and ability to meet deadlines

β€’ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment

β€’ High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and respect for confidentiality

Working Conditions

General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Physical Requirements

Requires sitting or standing at a desk for long periods of time indoors. Eye and hand coordination for viewing of monitor screen and multiple reports along with high volume of keyboard use.

Compensation

$50,000 annually
