Reveal Biosciences is creating a new generation of data powered pathology to improve global healthcare. Our proprietary deep learning-based platform, ImageDx™, delivers scientists and pathologists a novel class of actionable, quantitative data to accelerate research and enhance patient care.
We have a great opportunity for a candidate with an interest in software as it applies to cutting edge biology and large data sets. Reveal works with large, gigapixel images of diseased tissue to create AI/ML tools to characterize that tissue at scale. The role centers around data ingestion & quantification, applying these tools to commercial studies for the company. The ideal candidate will combine a background in life science with an engaged interest in using and expanding image analysis and technology skills.
Excellent computer skills and experience with Python are required. Experience in using cloud services (i.e. AWS, GCP) is an advantage and the candidate should have a demonstrated interest in software development and image analysis evidenced through previous education or projects coupled with an interest in biological applications. Experience with microscopy and whole slide imaging are a plus.
Requirements: a Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Bioengineering, Biological Sciences or a related subject. Strong communication skills, an ability to troubleshoot and a willingness to contribute to a dynamic team environment are essential.
