Description

Lead Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role on the Financial Services team and will be responsible for month end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and supporting operational leaders across designated hospital service lines. They should be self-motivated with a focus on outcomes based analysis and continual improvement. Coordinates and supports the system financial team in providing actionable information (including analysis, reporting, pro formas) to support operational and strategic decision making. Provides analytical and consultative support to departmental and service line management and key stakeholders. Analyzes diverse sets of data including financial, operational, clinical and economic, to support strategic and operational decisions. Interprets financial or other information on costs, prices, expenses, revenues and various clinical and operational measures to make recommendations to senior management. Develops analysis of economic indicators in order to prepare forecasts and analyze the organization's short, medium, and long term position. Provides technical support on complex analysis and may informally lead team members.

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Degree in Finance or related field a plus.
  • Requires 3+ years of relevant financial or operational analysis experience; at least 2 years of experience in healthcare industry preferred.
  • Requires analytical experience working with complex data sets.
  • Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products/applications; strong Microsoft Excel experience required; relational database and financial or operational modeling experience a plus.
