As a Financial Analyst, you will:Β
- Create and analyze margin/profitability by market, value stream, product
- Publish various weekly scorecards
- Recommend improvements to pricing and manufacturing processes by analyzing historical costs/processes/constraints and investigating future trends
- Organize data to guide decision making
- Prepare IRR calculations for capital projects, working with management to identify and quantify the benefits
- Create reports and train others on the use the analytic reporting toolΒ
- Facilitate company growth and scalability through systems thinking
- Document standard work
- Financial modeling and forecasting
- Additional ad hoc analysis, special projects and other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Analytics, Accounting or a related field
- 2+ yearsβ experience in analytics within manufacturing
- Proficient with MS Office with strong Microsoft Excel skills (Formulas, Pivot Tables, Functions)
- Knowledge of data tables and database reporting tools
- Analytic. Able to review data to find trends and anomalies
- Problem solve independently and within teams
- Perform root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence of issues
- Manages time well/able to work on multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization in verbal and written form
- Values documenting processes to assure consistency and repeatability
- Highly motivated toward solving business needs and improving processes
- Ability to convert raw data into actionable opportunities
- Solid understanding of ERP systems and concepts within a manufacturing environment
