Pay Rate Information
This is a temporary to permanent hire Service Contract Act position with an hourly pay rate of $43.25 that includes a Health and Welfare Benefit of $4.57 an hour.
Service Contract Act, or SCA, position pay rates are determined by the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division.

Upon completion of six (6) months of employment, the selected candidate can expect an annual salary as a permanent full-time employee with the federal contractor.

This position is approved for partial remote/ telework operations with 2-3 days in office/ on-site.

Data Specialist II, e-Discovery Team Supervisor Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree, preferably I.T. related
Minimum two years (2) of experience performing e-Discovery roles including but not limited to Electronic Files Processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis
e-Discovery Litigation Support
Able to recognize various electronic file types (e.g., Word, PDF, ZIP)
Very familiar with Relativity database structure, Relativity loading protocols, and procedures, exporting functions, and database maintenance
Familiarity with Electronically Stored Information (ESI) tools and knowledge of e-Discovery procedures and resources required
Knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow
Strong knowledge of litigation support data loading, file conversion and manipulation for loading to various database platforms
Experience with legal technology/ platforms/ software for data/ document processing: LAW, IPro eCapture, Nuix, Relativity, Reveal, Everlaw, or other document processing/ document review applications/ platforms
General
Familiarity with MS Office desktop applications such as MS Word and MS Outlook
Experience in multi-tasking
Expertise working with computers; strong understanding of hardware components
Attention to detail is vital

Data Specialist II, e-Discovery Team Supervisor Responsibilities/Duties:
Use advanced knowledge of e-Discovery processes, industry best practices, and data intake, processing and loading technologies, to provide exceptional service to customer clients and case teams
Position under the direction of the Project Manager and handles tasks as issued by the Electronic Processing Center (EPC)
Responsible for working closely with Antitrust Division (ATR) Case Managers on task requirements
Assist with the training of new EPC-specific contract staff as needed
Participate in case specific status calls as needed and general EPC daily or weekly calls via MS Teams application
Troubleshoots data loading and software utility issues as required
Logs, tracks, and assigns tasks received in ATR’s Case Media and Tracking System database (CMTS)
Performs quality control checks on the data loaded by new and junior EPC staff
Edits and prepares large load files for updating to Relativity
Prepares outgoing discovery production deliverables per ATR Case Manager requests
Assists with creating and updating document processing procedures as needed
Modifies load files and performs quality control on loaded data quickly and accurately
Runs multiple load streams simultaneously
Performs native file processing in iPro
Exports data from Relativity to create load files for other various platforms as requested by Case Manager
Performs data conversion processing, including conversions of various document types
Performs special format data conversions and file manipulation requests
Handles quality control on load files and Relativity data loads and exports
Performs advanced requests, such as creating data exports for productions and performing quality control on files, and complicated overlays or appends, privilege claw backs, and sequestration of documents
Performs quality control to confirm accuracy on loads completed by new Data Specialists
Provides hands-on training to other Data Specialist as needed
Performs basic Relativity searching and global updates to mark and/or tag records as requested; to include confirming record counts in Save Searches and Image redactions prior to creating exports for production
Clearly and accurately discusses data inconsistencies found with Project Manager, Project Supervisor, as well as the Case Manager when necessary
Assists on calls relating to data load file formats or media encryption software with Case Manager and other IT individuals as requested.
