Job Overview:

Your role is a key member of the Regional & Local Marketing Team, which is responsible for working side-by-side with Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) franchisees to drive leads to and build awareness for their CBA stores. As a Marketing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collecting, maintaining, and analyzing marketing data while ultimately identifying channel effectiveness, uncovering new opportunities, and making recommendations to optimize strategies to 1) drive more leads and 2) keep our brand experience and awareness ahead of competitors.

You will use qualitative and quantitative data to assess our position and identify the projected value and volume of marketing initiatives being considered and deployed at the local and regional levels.

This role will involve using analytics tools, including the latest in AI technologies, employing statistical models, and synthesizing guest sentiment. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Establish key, routine marketing reports that will be utilized internally and with franchise owners
  • Provide data insights on campaigns, identify key metrics, and recommend scalable improvements
  • Collaborate across the Regional & Local Marketing Team, and the Marketing Department as a whole, to maintain continuity of measurement across various channels and vendor partners
  • Create and/or enhance data feeds from a variety of software and systems to unify all marketing data within our business intelligence tool, Domo
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to build ongoing reporting for National, Regional, and Local marketing channels and benchmark measurement
  • Implement use of the latest AI tools to enhance productivity while providing individualized, comprehensive analysis at micro and macro levels
  • Regularly present findings to the Director of Regional & Local Marketing, Regional & Local Marketing Team and Marketing Leadership Team
  • Maintain reporting and alerts on marketing budgets, reconciling against results, to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Build new reporting to measure the guest journey - linking relevant analytics tools and data feeds together to measure acquisition costs, ROI, and guest lifetime value
  • Advise on new opportunities and marketing software
  • Perform competitive analysis and market research to develop effective marketing strategies

Qualifications

Education and Experience Minimum Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, or Math and/or equivalent years of relevant work experience

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a statistical or data analyst position, Marketing-related analyst experience is strongly preferred 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Domo, etc. Must be able to use, analyze, and report from these systems as needed. 
  • Solid Excel knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, and analysis. 
  • Strong foundation in SQL programming, including querying and data manipulation. Java and or Python are a plus. 
  • Experience with statistical analysis
  • Experience with data management and APIs, working with development teams to stand-up new data feeds
  • Proven examples of utilizing AI within the business setting, specifically around marketing analytics 
  • Solid understanding of general marketing best practices and relevant measurement techniques 
  • Prior experience analyzing and optimizing marketing initiatives to drive customer leads

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, including paperwork, calculators,
    computers, and phone usage
  • Standard business dress is required from time to time; neat and appropriate attire is always
    required

Base Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
