POSITION SUMMARY:

Summit Utilities, Inc. is searching for a passionate and skilled Marketing Analyst. In this role, you'll drive decisions and optimize marketing performance through statistical analysis and AI-driven insights. Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining our company websites, gathering and integrating data from diverse sources, analyzing marketing trends, and providing actionable recommendations. You’ll collaborate with the marketing team to segment audiences, define key performance indicators for campaigns, and leverage our email CRM tool for targeted communication strategies. You will also use attribution analysis to assess channel contributions, create visually compelling reports, and recommend strategic adjustments to maximize budgets and drive efficiencies. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data Collection and Integration: Gather data from various sources, including digital marketing platforms, customer databases, website analytics, CRM tools, and social media. Ensure the integration of these data sources to provide a comprehensive view of marketing performance.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can guide marketing strategies and campaign optimizations. Use statistical techniques to interpret data, conduct A/B testing, and provide actionable recommendations. Leverage CRM analytics to optimize customer engagement and retention strategies.
  • Audience Segmentation: Collaborate with marketing teams to segment the company's target audience based on demographics, behavior, and other relevant factors. Develop personas and customer profiles to enhance campaign targeting and personalization. Utilize CRM data to refine audience segments and create tailored marketing journeys.
  • Campaign Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for different marketing campaigns, such as click-through rates, conversion rates, cost per acquisition, and return on investment (ROI). Regularly monitor and report on campaign performance against KPIs. Support marketing automation platforms, including orchestrating custom journeys based on user behavior tracked through the CRM.
  • Attribution Analysis: Assess the contribution of various marketing channels to conversions and sales, employing techniques like multi-touch attribution modeling. Provide insights into which channels and touchpoints are driving the most value. Integrate website and CRM data to offer a holistic view of customer touchpoints.
  • Data Visualization and Reporting: Create visually compelling dashboards and reports to communicate marketing performance to stakeholders, enabling them to make informed decisions. Use tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio to present data effectively. Include insights from CMS performance to optimize website content.
  • Technology Utilization: Stay current with the latest marketing analytics tools, platforms, and methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Provide recommendations for new tools or technologies that can enhance data analysis capabilities, particularly focusing on CRM and CMS enhancements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, copywriters, and strategists, to align data insights with creative and strategic decisions. Effectively communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize content across digital platforms, ensuring that CRM and CMS data are leveraged effectively.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. An advanced degree or certification in data analytics, AI, or marketing analytics would be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing data analysis or a related field. Experience specifically with CRM and CMS platforms is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of applying statistical techniques, conducting A/B testing, and providing actionable insights. Familiarity with leveraging CRM data for personalized marketing strategies.
  • Experience in audience segmentation, persona development, and campaign performance measurement. Direct experience using CRM tools to refine audience segments and enhance targeting.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and orchestrating custom user journeys. Experience integrating CRM systems with marketing automation tools to streamline processes and improve customer engagement.
  • Expertise in attribution analysis, utilizing multi-touch attribution modeling for channel contribution assessment. Experience integrating data from CMS platforms to assess the effectiveness of digital content.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating visually compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio. Ability to incorporate data from CMS and CRM tools into comprehensive reporting.
  • Experience in predictive analytics, forecasting trends, and identifying opportunities for proactive marketing strategies. Experience using CRM data to inform predictive models and forecast customer behavior.
  • Previous involvement in market and competitive analysis, providing insights for strategic adjustments. Understanding of how to leverage CMS data for competitive analysis and content optimization.
  • Understanding of data quality, consistency, and governance, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Experience managing data within CRM systems to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Proven collaboration and communication skills, including effectively conveying complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders. Experience training and working with teams on CRM and CMS best practices.
  • Collaboration experience with cross-functional teams to integrate CRM and CMS data into broader marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with the latest marketing analytics tools, platforms, and methodologies, and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt. Specific experience with leading CRM and CMS platforms is a plus.
  • Previous involvement in advocating for and conducting data-driven experimentation and innovation. Experience testing and optimizing CRM-driven campaigns.
  • Ethical data usage awareness, especially when handling sensitive customer data. Experience ensuring CRM data is handled in compliance with ethical standards and privacy regulations.
  • Experience in training and knowledge sharing, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization. Ability to train others on the effective use of CRM and CMS tools.
