As a Product Data Specialist, you'll be at the heart of managing and optimizing product listings for our websites and marketplaces. Your role will involve collaborating with content, creative, and sales teams to gather and produce accurate product information for online listings. You'll conduct thorough research on product and category details and leverage Excel and other data tools to efficiently manage and update product information, ensuring high-quality listings with minimal errors.




*After successfully completing training, this full-time role offers a balanced mix of in-office and remote opportunities.




Core Responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:  




Product Data Integrity:



  • Work with our content and creative teams to gather and produce information essential to listing new products on our websites and on marketplaces

  • Research appropriate product and category information

  • Use Excel and other data-based interfaces to import/export product information and utilize formulas and tools to increase efficiency

  • Be extremely thorough and detail-focused when creating product listings to minimize errors

  • Troubleshoot errors and implement or improve processes to reduce future issues

  • Utilize various systems (including but not limited to NetSuite, Magento, & Celigo) to launch new and maintain existing website listings




Pricing Data Integrity:



  • Communicate with manufacturers and vendors regarding upcoming price changes and effectively implement and maintain the pricing system

  • Verify the accuracy of price changes on websites and marketplaces once in effect

  • Identify new product opportunities in price lists and add new products to the ERP system

  • Ensure adherence to all manufacturer MAP policies

  • Manage the implementation of the product retirement process and any special pricing for discontinued products

  • Document and maintain pricing procedures
