Job Description Summary:

Are you interested in a multi-faceted role focused on driving process improvements for global finance colleagues? The Senior Business Analyst for Finance Systems will have a meaningful role in improving and maintaining the financial systems of our organization! The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of finance processes, systems, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions. This role requires a highly analytical and diligent individual with superb communication and problem-solving skills.

The Senior Analyst will support and often lead finance-related projects and governance initiatives that are driven by Corporate leadership. This role will be directly involved in projects tied to the strategic goals and objectives for the global Finance organization. As a key member of the team, they will partner with Corporate, Group, and Division Finance Organizations to complete various Finance systems and business process initiatives, in addition to collaborating with system administrators and technical teams.

Job Duties

**Business Requirements Gathering, System Analysis & Process Improvement**

  • Analyze current processes, determine areas for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and detail business requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure that all requirements are clearly communicated and understood by all relevant parties.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of financial systems.
  • Collaborate with the project team, business leadership, and collaborators to develop an enterprise Hyperion Planning (PLN) and Governance strategic roadmap.
  • Complete key deliverables that will promote system adoption across the organization, including the adoption of a Workforce Module Planning solution.
  • Drive efficiencies and value creation for the Finance organization by streamlining processes and establishing governance in support of Hyperion Planning systems and processes.
  • Verify code accuracy for new functionality testing before implementing it organization-wide and analyze data to ensure system data aligns for reporting across all levels.

**System Maintenance, End User Support & Project Management**

  • Act as the liaison between the Corporate technical team and business users to support future phases of key corporate projects, ensuring alignment with an effective user experience.
  • Support finance end users during financial planning cycles (forecasting, budgeting), when needed.
  • Engage with system end users to provide ongoing support and maintenance for corporate financial systems, where required.
  • Ensure system integrity and data accuracy through troubleshooting and resolving system issues in a timely manner, when required.
  • Support the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.

**Training, Documentation & Change Management**

  • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure effective use of finance systems.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive documentation for system processes, configurations, and user guides.
  • Inspire change and adoption of key process, technology, and new organizational changes as it relates to System enhancements and Governance.

Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge & Skills)

  • 5+ years of meaningful work experience in Finance, Financial Systems or Project Management preferred.
  • Strong financial systems capabilities with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management systems (HFM, FCCS, Essbase, Freeform, Hyperion Planning, EPBCS).
  • Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills, with a focus on effectively conveying technical information to non-technical collaborators.
  • Proficient quantitative and analytical capabilities with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience working on large projects, with strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Experience in data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, Experian) is a plus.
  • Capable of being a proponent of change by applying change management and business partnership skills.
  • Ability to pair business insight with technical skills to problem-solve and verify the integrity of data.
  • Ability to operate in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with diverse collaborators.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
